DrupalCampWI -- 22 - 23 Jul 2011

Pull out your calendars and reserve 22 - 23 July 2011 for DrupalCampWI in Madison, Wisconsin, USA.

The website for the event is quite sparse as of this morning, consisting primarily of the (tentative) date and the location -- UW Madison Engineering Campus. However, expect to see lots of info added over the next few weeks.

No sessions are listed yet, but if you can lead a Drupal session, please consider entering the topic(s) of sessions you'd like to lead. If you know a few companies who may consider sponsoring the event, please contact them to discuss that. Blake Hall or one of the other Madison Drupalers organizing the camp will be happy to answer questions about sponsorship and work with sponsors to get their logo put up on the website. Email me if you want contact info for Blake or other DrupalCampWI organizers.

If you already enjoy using Drupal and want to learn a few new tricks or would like to meet new Drupal users, DrupalCampWI is the best event to participate in this side of DrupalCon. Besides, you'll have to wait until March 2012 and travel to Denver to go to DrupalCon...

If you don't know much (or anything) about Drupal and want to learn about this fantastic open source content management system (CMS), this is the event for you.

In addition to the Twitter link on the DrupalCampWI site, there is also a mailing list for people interested in helping organize the event. Sign up if you want to get to know a bunch of good tech people, or even just want to keep track of what's happening with the event.

See you at camp!
