BarCampMilwaukee -- Wifi Equipment

+James Carlson just announced that BarCampMilwaukee6 will have 50 x 5 internet access because Bucketworks is upgrading their connection in the near future. BarCampMilwaukee may need participants to bring some N-class wifi APs, so if you have one or get one between now and 01 October 2011, consider bringing it to camp.

If you're not already planning to go to BCMke6, please consider putting it on your schedule. This participant-driven unconference for technology is happening 01 - 02 October, with a social event probably occurring on the evening of 30 September. If you're a hacker/maker/geek, you'll love it. Guaranteed. If you're not a hacker/maker/geek, you might find it interesting and become a hacker/maker. Probably won't become a geek because those seem to be born, not made. If you don't know what barcamps are, check out the Wikipedia entry about barcamps. If you have specific questions about BarCampMilwaukee, please contact me (bwaldron [att] gmail{dott}com) or any of the BarCampMilwaukee past participants and organizers (as found by checking out the event website, the mailing list when it gets set up, or standard Google searching).

If you can bring an N-class wifi AP or other gear to help build/operate the BCMke6 network and Internet access system, please ping +James Carlson. If a barcamper takes the initiative to help lead the network design and setup, James can point you at them.

Thanks, and I hope to see you at BarCampMilwaukee6!

Thanks Bob!

Just to be clear, there is no mailing list, but there is this group:

Join it if you want to help plan, discuss, etc.
