NEW NET location for 25 Jan 2011 Mtg = Sergio's Restaurant
NEW NET’s 25 Jan 2011 meeting will be 7 – 9 PM at Sergio’s Restaurant, 2639 South Oneida Street, Appleton; backup location, Tom’s on Westhill Blvd.
In addition to whatever other topics get covered, we will talk a little about the 22 Jan DHMN road trip to MHH and Sector67.
As added incentive for meeting somewhat regularly at Sergio's, the wifi network at Tom's during last week's NEW NET meeting was less than robust. If Andy didn't already take care of the primary cause of the Sergio's wifi problems experienced at the 11 Jan NEW NET meeting, perhaps he can resolve that tomorrow before 7 PM.
What we really need for NEW NET meetings is a 50 Mbps down / 20 Mbps up connection dedicated to NEW NET meeting participants which is designed to handled 20+ simultaneous users. I'm just sayin'...

We could just rent a backhoe and install our own. :)
Ummm...no money to rent backhoe so far, no facility to connect to so far, and I think somebody would notice if we spliced into their backbone fiber and began to siphon off 50 down / 20 up...
Other than that, it would be fun to play with the backhoe!
Is this a good time to admit I own a backhoe?
