EAA & NEW NET Issues List for 05 Jun 2007

NEW NET (Northeast Wisconsin Network for Economy and Technology issues) is having its weekly gathering of tech enthusiasts in an exciting new location today -- at the EAA Museum in Oshkosh!

The meeting starts at 6:30 p.m., half an hour earlier than the normal start time. Park in the main lot by the museum/headquarters building and come in the front door. The museum and parking lot are shown in the aerial shot to the left at the bottom of the picture; the Mapquest location red star is a bit off, but Mapquest's aerial view of EAA is much better than Google Maps' view. The focus of the meeting will be aviation video games and flight simulators.

This was not a good week for announcing a new tech product -- there were so many interesting tech news items that any one announcement had little chance of being in the spotlight. With all the media attention on the iPhone, which is being released June 29, any new products may be better off being released after mid-July. There were several good iPhone articles I read, but at this point everything is speculation so wait until after they've been out a couple weeks to read about how well they are actually performing.

Reminder: Location Change for NEW NET This Week!!!

Below is the final list of issues for the TUESDAY, 05 June 02007, NEW NET 6:30 - 9:00 pm weekly gathering at EAA AirVenture Museum, 3000 Poberezny Road, Oshkosh, Wisconsin, USA.
