BarCampMilwaukee Planning & Fireseed

Are you coming to BarCampMilwaukee??

This event is being planned for Fall 2006. The date is dependent on finding an available, effective venue whose cost can be covered by event sponsors. This means the venue will be an in-kind sponsor, or the venue cost can be covered by committed revenue from a BarCampMilwaukee sponsor. The goal is to get the event date set in the very near future so interested tech enthusiasts and geeks can put that date on their schedule. Check back regularly at the BarCampMilwaukee website for the date, or sign up at http://barcamp.org/BarCampMilwaukee to help organize or participate in the barcamp. When the date is agreed on, we'll communicate that date to everyone who's signed up.

Planning something as amorphous and informal as a barcamp is by nature distributed or decentralized. At this point, however, much of the planning is being coordinated through Fireseed, a Milwaukee "technical peer group" and "casual think tank."

The Fireseed meeting on 06 August 2006 will include BarCampMilwaukee planning and discussion. The meeting is being held from 2:30 to 4:30 pm at Bucketworks, 1319 N. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, Milwaukee. If you're interested in BarCampMilwaukee, please come to the 06 August meeting.
